What's included

We cut the carpet into manageable strips, roll and remove it along with the padding, pry out tack strips and transition bars (or leave them, if your installer prefers — just say so), pull staples within reason, sweep the subfloor, and haul everything away. Per-room or whole-house. We also remove area rugs, carpet tiles, and — for renovation jobs — vinyl and laminate tear-out.

Common questions

Can you remove carpet with furniture in the room? Yes — we shuffle furniture room to room as we work, or remove unwanted pieces entirely.

Do you find subfloor surprises? Sometimes — old water staining or terrazzo worth saving. We'll photograph anything notable and let you decide before proceeding.

What about glued-down carpet? Doable; it's slower work, so mention it (commercial glue-down especially) for an accurate quote.
