The honest part
Charities have standards, and they should — a torn sofa helps no one. Our crew will tell you plainly which items are donation-grade and which aren't. Anything that doesn't qualify can ride out on the same truck as a standard removal, recycled where possible. One visit, both outcomes, no judgment about the chair the cat ruined.
What donates well
Solid furniture (sofas, dressers, tables, chairs), working appliances, kitchenware, books, tools, bikes, and sporting goods. Mattresses, large CRT TVs, and heavily worn upholstery generally don't qualify — we'll route those to recycling or disposal instead and tell you which is which up front.
How pricing works
Donation pickup is priced like any haul — a free, firm estimate based on volume, approved before we load. You're paying for the door-to-charity logistics: careful handling, the delivery run, and the documentation. Many customers combine a donation run with a cleanout and offset part of the cost at tax time with the receipt.
