Estate Cleanout

An estate cleanout is never just a hauling job. It's the last walk through a parent's house, the settling of a life, often coordinated by family members who live three states away and are running on grief and a closing date. Nimble does this work every week, and we do it the way we'd want it done for our own families: patiently, carefully, and with complete transparency about where things go.

What's included

The whole house, on your terms. We work room by room at the pace you set — some families want a single decisive day, others need us across two or three visits with time to think between. Keepsakes, documents, and photos are set aside the moment anyone spots them. Donation-grade furniture and household goods are documented and delivered to local charities, with itemized receipts emailed to the estate. Everything else is recycled or responsibly disposed of, and the home is left broom-clean — ready for the realtor's photographer.

Working with out-of-town family

Most of our estate work is coordinated remotely. We can walk the home on a video call, send a written estimate for approval by text or email, photograph anything you want a second opinion on before it leaves, and send final photos of the cleared home. Executors get the documentation they need for the file.

How pricing works

Estate cleanouts are quoted as a free, firm estimate — typically based on truck volume — after photos or a walkthrough. You approve the number before anything moves. If an estate sale company is involved, we're happy to come after the sale and clear what remains; it usually lowers the price.

Can you work with our attorney or realtor? Routinely. We coordinate timing and provide documentation both tend to ask for.
