Hot Tub Removal
Full hot tub demolition, removal, and haul-away.
A dead hot tub is the hardest thing in your backyard to get rid of. Empty, it still weighs 500 to 900 pounds; it's wider than every gate on the property; and it's bolted into plumbing and a 220-volt line. This is not a Saturday project with friends. It's a Nimble specialty.
What's included
Everything from "it's still sitting there" to "you'd never know it existed": electrical disconnect verification (a licensed electrician should de-energize the circuit first — we'll confirm it's safe), plumbing disconnection, draining if needed, cutting the shell and cabinet into sections on site, hauling every piece including the cover and steps, and a full sweep of the pad. If you want the concrete pad or deck framing gone too, tell us in the quote and we'll include it.
How it works
- Send photos through the quote form — a couple of angles and the gate width tell us most of what we need.
- Get your free estimate — hot tubs are quoted as a flat project price you approve before we start.
- Demolition day — most removals take 60 to 90 minutes. We cut, carry, load, and sweep.
- The space is yours again — patio furniture, garden, putting green; we won't judge.
How pricing works
Every hot tub is quoted individually — size, access, and what's under it all matter — so you get a free, firm estimate rather than a guess. The price covers demolition, debris, and disposal. No multi-line surprises at the end.
Where it goes
The shell is typically ABS and acrylic, the cabinet wood or composite, the frame steel — we separate what's recyclable (the metal, mostly) and dispose of the rest at licensed facilities. Working pumps and heaters are pulled for reuse when they have life left.
Common questions
Does the tub need to be drained? Drained is ideal, but if it's full of last year's water, we'll handle draining on site.
Can you remove a tub from a deck or screened lanai? Yes — cutting it into sections means it leaves through whatever opening exists.
What about in-ground spas? Those are a different animal involving excavation; send photos and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right crew.
Send two photos, get your free estimate, and say goodbye to the backyard monument. Same-week removal is the norm.
